B-612: Our Roses

"Captain's Log...


I met a Little Prince today. He was the ruler of the smallest planet I ever seen, unnamed and only charted as B-612. He was the only inhabitant as well. There was not much there, some sparse flowers and three tiny volcanoes, which he assured me one was extinct but you never know. There wasn't much to do there except rake up, what I assume was dangerous tree roots called baobabs, and watch the sunset.

But he did own a beautiful rose, his most prized possession. I left him to his world, it was not worth conquering but it was a good rest stop.

End transmission."




A conversation about the rose with the Little Prince however was kept off of his personal journey diary. Skoo sat with the Little Prince when offered to watch a few sunsets with him. It was easy to watch as many sunsets as you like since you only need take a few feet after watching it to watch it again.

The curly blonde headed boy smiled to Skoo and then to the setting sun. With his arm raised he spoke...

"It's the time I spent on my rose that makes her so important. I'm responsible for her. She only has four ridiculous thorns to protect her from the world. She thinks they're enough... She's such a proud, naive flower."

Skoo at first didn't know how to reply. Infact he barely said much while they were there. But after some thought he realized that he too had a precious flower. After hesitation he replied...

"My Rose is important to me just like yours. I have to protect her as well, but not from the world. She doesn't have four thorns, She is covered in in them and they only prick herself. I'm responsible for... a Proud, stubborn....flower."






XD Yep that's right... an Invader Zim Little Prince crossover. Wanted to draw this idea about The Little Prince and Skoo sharing their love for their roses...something they share in common.

The picture took 20 markers in total. Some slight lighting added since my markers can't quite express that yet from Open Canvas.
