Concept Art: Nightmare Vever

This is just a quick doodle of an idea I had.

This fancy lil lady is named Vever. She's actually a Nightmare form of a character of mine named Sladri. (Note: Sladri isn't anywhere in my gallery...I haven't drawn her much...but I SHOULD upload her). Sladri is a rather ugly female ( [link] and [link] ) and it's something she's well aware of and kind of accepts. Sladri's name simply came from the words Slave Driver as she was a rather bossy CFO of a botanical restoration company. Ve and Ver on the ends of both words were cut off to make Sladri, so her nightmare form got the left over letters.

It's not just to be convenient...but if you add Vever to Sladri... you get what it is that make something of her nasty. Like revealing to yourself something negative you yourself never knew.

Vever is extremely vain, spending lots of her time primping herself and comparing herself to others. She stands out from other Nightmares in that most people would find her a beauty rather than a horrible monster. But what they don't take into account is that Vever beautiful visage is but a mirror reflection of Sladri's desires. What could be hidden behind those mint eyes and fancy clothes? Well... if she asks you if you find her beautiful... you might as well run away, because no matter what compliment you give her...she will be upset and she will rip out your eyes.

Her main food sustainance is the eyeballs of her victims. Sometimes it's tongue depending on how angry she was when she killed them. The only clue to her true side is a shadow that just doesn't match her features. It looks like a horrendous mound of flailing claws, tentacles, or some other writhing extremities.

She's both a chain smoker and a binge drinker. When she gets angry she gorges herself on eyeballs... and sometimes beats on Ic in her rampages. It usually takes Al to calm her down (lol beat her into submission prolly).

Just as Sladri is mated with Crit ( [link] ), Vever is mated to his Ids (yes plural) Al, Ic, and Mas. Al is a very gruff and vicious mafia-esque form of Crit who's clean-cut and violent. He's the dominant mate, even Vever fears him as her strength cannot match his. Ic is a paranoid and timid guy with a confusing fashion sense and a habit of hiding in dark places. Vever enjoys freaking him out, chasing him, and possessively taking care of him, but he's sometimes a victim to her own anger. Mas is very feral and instinctual... living in Vever's basement where she bring him food to thrive on. She treats him more like a pet than anything... and would gladly have him sick anyone she was angered by.

Her goal is to find a way to create a portal or nexus that links the Nightmare world into Reality. But how hard will it be for her?


Okay done jabbering... still working on ideas. But yeah... A sexy nightmare? XD Very strange, but there's definitely more than meets the eye.
