Doc's Little Girl: The ~ATH AU

A birthday picture for my friend Caity's little sister. Her favorite character in Homestuck is Kanaya, so I drew Doc Scratch and Toddlerish Kanaya.

~ATH (Tilde-ath or Till Death) AU (Alternate Universe) means this takes place in the Universe in which Gamzee ran a muck and killed pretty much everyone. I don't recall it specifically saying Kanaya got killed, but if Doc was created there and this timeline simply became an offshoot doomed one, perhaps he would snatch her as a child all just to raise her up until the timeline died.

Just a cute idea.

Also they're roleplaying/cosplaying in Felt style versions of Rhett Butler and Bonnie Blue from Gone With The Wind, which is so fitting since Doc comes off as an old Southern Gentleman.
